Leonard Earl Burts, 85, passed away from this life on May 19, 2026 in Tomball, TX surrounded by his loved one's. He was born to the late Earl Burts and Lois Burts on June 04, 1940 in Houston, TX.

Leonard was known for the love of his ranch in West Tx and was always ready to lend a helping hand and or a listening ear to whomever needed it. Leonard was a well known local business owner dedicated to the construction business for over 50 years and married to his beloved wife, Katherine DeHay Burts for 66 years. Leonard brought warmth to everyone he encountered, and remains in the hearts of his family, friends and all those who knew him. His legacy will live on for generations to come, inspiring those around him with his kindness and generosity.

He is preceded in death by his wife Katherine DeHay Burts and son Barry Burts.
Survived by his son Kyle Burts, grandson Brandon Burts, great grandchildren Maebry and Blayne.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home-Tomball with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm. A graveside service will immediately follow at Klein Memorial Park-249 in Pinehurst, TX.
