Leonard Warren Bonds, 70, passed from this life on April 29, 2024, in Conroe, TX. He was born on April 6, 1954, in Spring, TX to the late Oliver and Dorothy Bonds.

Leonard attended and graduated from Klein High School where he was a member of the football team. He also played second base for the Spring/Klein baseball team. As a young man, he spent time with his father hunting and fishing. His career was as a truck driver for a commercial glass company in Houston from 1982 until his retirement in 2014. Over the years, Leonard had many dogs (beagles). He enjoyed and spent many years running his dogs at beagle trials. After his retirement, his years were spent surrounded by family.

Those left to cherish his memories are his sister, Juanita Fisher, and husband Harry; nieces, Lanita Brown and husband Jay; Jennifer Warren and husband Marc; Dana Gambino and husband Sal; nephews, Keith Fisher; Bobby Fisher and wife Julie; Donnie Bonds; and Jake Bonds and wife Rosie; He also leaves behind numerous beloved great-nieces and great- nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Dave Oliver Bonds; mother, Dorothy Louise (Johnson) Bonds; brothers, Donnie Bonds and David Bonds; niece, Piper Fisher; and great-niece, Hailey Fisher.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 3, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Klein Funeral Home-Tomball.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 10:00 am at Whispering Pines Baptist Church, 15200 FM 1485 Rd.; Conroe, TX 77302. Pastor Jim Allee will officiate.

There will be a reception following the service at the Church.
