Leona Henry, 76, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on May 15, 2026. Leona was born on April 13, 1950, in Tacoma, Washington. She was an army brat, moving around the world, finally settling in El Paso, Texas, where she graduated with a teaching degree from UTEP. While working as a teacher, she met her husband. After many years of teaching, Leona retired from Bleyl Junior High School in Cypress, Texas. She loved her family, all animals, and arts and crafts. She made the most amazing Barbie and Bugs Bunny birthday cakes for her daughters when they were young. Her family has cherished ceramic and quilled pieces she created.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David of 46 years, in 2018. She is survived by her daughters, Beth Craig and Laura Magamoll, sons-in-law, Bradley Craig  and James Magamoll and granddaughters, Avery and Amber Craig and Aubrey Magamoll. She is also survived by her sister, Brenda Macuich.

Services will not be held, but memories and kind thoughts are welcome. Leona is resting peacefully with family and will be missed by her loved ones every day.
