Leon Chester Mathieu, aged 80, of Cypress, passed away on April 2, 2025. Born on July 6, 1944, in Waltham, Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of the late Leon Walter Mathieu and Gertrude May Robbins Mathieu.

Leon is survived by his loving daughters, Chere Dawn Mathieu Rotondo and Kim Michelle Mathieu, and his son, Thomas Maxwell Mathieu. He was a proud grandfather to Vincent Rotondo, Lucciano Rotondo, Nicolas Rotondo, Natalie Rotondo, Andrea Mathieu, and Bradley Mathieu. Leon shared a special bond with his life companion, Jackie Mears-Mathieu.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
