Raymond "Lee" Harris, 69, of Spring, Texas, passed away September 4, 2020.  He was born February 24, 1951, in Ft. Worth to the late Raymond Lee Harris, Sr. and Doris Stanford Harris.

He is survived by his, wife, Kathy Harris; daughters, Kari Dodson and husband Randy, and Dana Flower and husband Ron; sisters, D'Lisa Abbott and husband Mark, and Donna Harris; brother, Randal Harris and wife Mary Ann; grandchildren, Kasi Roy, Megan Wrocklage, Katelyn Jenny (husband Seth Jenny), Caylee Dodson, Logan Montagu e; great grandchild, Christian Jenny; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Including his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Suzi Harris.

When Lee was a small child his family lived in White Settlement, TX.  They moved to Azle, Texas when he was a teenager, where Lee worked the farm with his father, this is where his love for John Deere anything was born.  He graduated high school from Azle High School in 1969.  Lee received over 20 offers for full scholarships to play football for different colleges across the US and committed to TCU in Ft. Worth on a football full scholarship for 3 years.  He then moved south to Houston where he was in the pickup camper business for many years.  After that he was a Body Shop Estimator in the Automobile dealership business.

Lee was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  One of his best know sayings was "Do the right thing", it is what his father always told him.  He loved hunting at the deer lease with his brother-in-laws and friends.

Lee was a good ol' country boy that lived his life as a very good man.  Lee was hardworking, strong, brave, funny and his unconditional love and support could never be replaced.  His rough edged wisdom was tempered with his love for family and friends.  He will be missed by many, but regretted by none.

The Corona Virus has changed the way funeral services are handled.  The restrictions and requirements at Klein Funeral Homes for services are as follows:

Visitation – 10 people, to include the family, on a rotation basis during the visitation time.

Chapel Service – 50 people, to include family and service participants (clergy and musicians), services are by invitation from the family.

Graveside Service – no restriction on attendance but social distancing must be observed.

A mask is required for all in attendance and if anyone has knowingly been exposed to COVID-19 please stay home we are trying to avoid exposure to funeral attendees and our staff.
