Obituary

Leah Rae Cobb Nichols was born on December 1, 1935 and went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2016. She was a glorious 80 year old lady.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Mac Nichols, Sr and three children: D'Lea Nichols, Melisa Standly, her husband, Randy Standly and her son, Joe Mac Nichols, Jr.

She also leaves a legacy of four grandchildren that were her life: Barrett Standly, Braeden Standly, Karsten Nichols and Karyss Nichols.

She loved three things most in life:  Her faith in God, her family and travel….she was a traveler!

Leah loved teaching 5th grade girls in Sunday school and spent many years as a leader in Bible Study Fellowship.

She wanted to take care of Joe, the children and then see the world…in that order.

Leah enjoyed playing bridge with her girlfriends…she called it marriage counseling for each other.

She loved to sew…the girls had matching outfits for all occasions and she even sewed doll dresses to match their Easter outfits.

She wanted to give each person her undivided attention and when she was with you…you were the most important person in her world.

Leah loved the Lord and knew where her ultimate destiny lied and she was very faithful in telling others about Heaven because she never wanted anyone to be left out.

She will be greatly missed but if you look around…especially when you encounter a rainbow…she will be there!
