Lea Anne Marshall, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2024, at the age of 86.
Born October 10, 1937, Lea Anne was the youngest of three daughters of the late Samuel Courtney and Dorothy Courtney Williams.
Lea Anne had a wonderful sense of humor and was known for her quick wit, infectious laughter, and the ability to find joy in everyday moments. Her love for the Lord was the cornerstone of her life, and she served Him faithfully all her days. Her faith was evident in her kindness, generosity, and the way she treated everyone with love and respect. Her favorite scripture was John 11:35, "Jesus wept," a verse that spoke to her deeply about compassion and empathy. Her favorite gospel song was "Wings of a Dove," which brought her great comfort and joy throughout her life.
She spent most of her years as a stay at home mom caring for her children. After being widowed she began a career in the medical field, working in a doctor's office. The end of her career was spent giving care to the elderly.
She is survived by her children, Tony D. Marshall of Silsbee, TX, Mary A. Marshall of Spring, TX; Terri Aleman, as well as her son-in-law, Joseph Aleman and grandson, Michael Aleman of Cypress, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Lewis Marshall and her daughter, Michelle Lea Marshall as well as her two sisters, Patricia and Beverly.
Rest in peace, Lea Anne. Your beauty, both inside and out, will never be forgotten.
