LaVern Joseph Jurgens was born in Austin, Minnesota on January 9, 1941, and passed away in Tomball, Texas on March 6, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his sons, Leon Jurgens and Kenneth Jurgens, and his parents, Kenneth and Gladys Jurgens.

LaVern is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jurgens; his children, Jeff Jurgens, Becky Cartwright and husband Rick, and Susan Lee and husband Tony; grandchildren, Sarah Gless Hertner, Rory Roberts, Blake Lee, Jayden Lee, and Miles Lee; and great-granddaughter, Alice Hertner.
