On Sunday April 25, 2021, Laurie Garcia, Loving wife and mother past away at the age of 44. Laurie was born on October 14, 1976 to Deborah and Robert Mathews. She received a degree in Nutrition from the University of Houston in 2008. On April 21, 2001 she married her long time love Ben Garcia. They have one son Benjamin Ashton Garcia.

Laurie loved spending time with Ashton and Ben (her boys). She also loved helping her family and friends with what ever they needed. One of her favorite pastimes was making cheese cakes for family parties.

Laurie was preceded in death by both of her Grandmothers and Grandfathers. She is survived her Husband Ben, her son Ashton, her mother Deborah, Father Robert, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

On Tuesday May 4, 2021 at Klein Funeral Homes & Memorial at 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring, TX, 77379 . Family viewing will be 5PM to 6PM public viewing will be 6PM to 8PM with a Rosary starting at 7PM. The funeral services will be on Wednesday May 5, 2021. We will meet at Prince of Peace at 19222 TX-249, Houston, TX 77070, at 10:30 AM for mass. After mass we will head to Laurie's final resting place at Klein Memorial Park at 9714 FM 2920, Tomball, TX 77375.
