In Loving Memory
of
Lauren Adriana Araujo
July 1, 1994 — September 8, 2025
Our beautiful daughter, Lauren Adriana Araujo of Cypress, Texas entered into eternal rest on September 8, 2025. She was a graduate from Cypress Woods High School and studied at Pima Medical Institute of Houston. Lauren is fondly known for the love of animals, especially puppies and kittens. Lauren would love to bring home rescue animals to restore them back to health. Lauren had a keen sense of style and fashion and had an innate ability to personalize trends, integrating popular styles into her own flair, which she loved sharing with her precious daughter, Ava. Lauren always looked beautiful in her own unique fashion. When she was younger, Lauren loved dancing and singing karaoke with her cousins, and she would joke and giggle with her dad. Lauren enjoyed participating with her mom in Girl Scouts, cheer and soccer. Lauren loved the family traditions. Lauren was baptized and made her First Communion at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, where she attended school in her elementary years. As a young adult, Lauren enjoyed listening to podcasts and talking about politics with her dad. Lauren was a beautiful soul who was loved deeply by all of her family and friends. We take comfort in knowing that she is at peace. Lauren is tenderly remembered for her patient demeanor, serene composure, and unwavering kindness. The memory of her love, smile, and beauty will forever be in our hearts.
Lauren is survived by her daughter, Ava Rose Hernandez, age 11, and son, Mason Kade Grosskruetz, age 7 months; her parents, Donie and Enrique Araujo; brother, Andrew Araujo; partner, Dalton Grosskruetz; grandparents, Andrew Humphrey, Mickie Humphrey, and Debbie Marshall; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lauren was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Maria Isabel Araujo Vázquez, who was affectionally known as "Mami Chavela" and grandfather Edmundo Araujo known as "Papa Mundo;" and her great-grandparents, Daphne Lucille Humphrey known as "Mimi" and Harley Harold Humphrey known as "Pa".
