Laura Ann O'Hare, 53, of Hockley Texas, passed from this life on March 28, 2025. Laura was born on September 5, 1971 to Joseph O'Hare And Patricia O'Hare in Long Island New York.

Laura was a very outgoing and loving person who people enjoyed being around. She earned an associate degree and worked as a paralegal for many years. Laura spent about 12 years fighting cancer, but through all those years she still found ways to enjoy life and give to others. She always looked forward to planning and going on the many trips we took around Texas and around the country. I wish she could have made the trip to Ireland she had planned, but her life was cut too short.

We always had animals in our home, especially dogs. I believe she was making up for not having the opportunity to have pets as a child. Growing up with four brothers and two sisters would make it tough to take care of a pet. She always tried to help animals, making donations and posting animals on her page that needed a home. She never met a dog she didn't like.

Those left to cherish Laura's memories are her immediate family: son Matthew, grandson Kamillo, sister Colleen, brother Mike and husband Johnny. Also Her extended family and many friends she acquired and cherished over the years.

Laura was preceded in death by brother Thomas, brother Joe, brother Kevin and sister Erin and both Her parents Joseph and Patricia O'Hare.

Funeral will be held at Klein Funeral home 1400 West Main Tomball, TX 77375.

Visitation, Friday April 4, 2025 5:00PM-8:00PM. Rosary Friday April 4, 2025 7:00 PM.

Funeral service Saturday April 5, 2025 10:00AM

Burial Saturday April 5, 2025 11:15AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SPCA, homeless organization of your choice or 90.1 KPFT community radio. We spent many Saturdays listening to local musicians we discovered on this station and enjoyed seeing at small venues around Texas. Donations in honor of Laura Ann O'Hare.
