Laura Jeannette Halloran, 62, of Cypress, Texas, joined God's angels in the early hours of September 2, 2023, in her home surrounded by family Laura's husband Tim, sons Jarad and Bryan, and daughter Carol, as she took God's hand.
Laura was born January 19, 1961, in Houston to parents Phyllis and Floyd Struckmeyer. She graduated from Shepherd High School in 1979, and later joined Timothy Patrick Halloran in holy matrimony on August 13, 1988, in Groceville, Texas.
She loved spending time with her sons and daughter, and frequently went antique shopping. She had a green thumb and tremendously enjoyed gardening. She loved her adorable Havanese pups and treated them all as family. She was confirmed into the Catholic Church on August 31, 2023, and will remain a perpetual member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Houston.
Laura was Tim's gal – forever and always. A caring mother, teacher, forgiving disciplinarian, nurse, doctor, listener, counselor, cook, lover – A GIFT OF GOD. She gave her all, without a whimper, for family and friends – Never letting go of the rope.
Laura is survived by her husband Tim P (TP) Halloran; two sons Jarad P Halloran, (partner Shelby Cline); and younger son Bryan W Halloran; daughter, Carol R Reed (husband Byrd); granddaughter, Paige Williams; grandson, Preston Williams; great grandson, Hendrixx Kitai Grant; Sister-in-laws and husbands Marie Halloran (Mark), Julie Halloran (Bill), Lynn Halloran (Jim); mother, Phyllis Struckmeyer; brothers Floyd Struckmeyer, Howard Struckmeyer, and George Struckmeyer.
