Larry Martin, 78, passed away January 28, 2018 after a lengthy battle with cancer in Houston TX. He was born April 21, 1939 to Leslie A. and Madge Garrett Martin in Charleston,WV. Larry was the oldest of 4 children as Leslie and Madge also had Michael M.Martin, David H. Martin, and Leslie Susan Martin. Larry went on to graduate from Charleston High School in 1957 and then University of Tulsa with a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering.

Larry married Anne Laymon of Tulsa in 1962 and together they raised 3 children.

Professionally Larry established his own company in the early 1980's and worked internationally for many years. He thoroughly enjoyed the travels involved in his work and often entertained family and friends with tales of his experiences.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Anne and their 3 children, Michael K. Martin, Mary Elizabeth Heldmann, and Leslie Anne Martinez and their respective spouses. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Larry had many times verbalized "I do not want a funeral with people sad and moping around." Family has honored those wishes and continue to Celebrate his Life.
