LARRY WAYNE ASHLEY, 77, of Mont Belvieu, passed away on Sunday afternoon, January 10, 2021. He was b orn in Houston, TX, on December 4, 1943, to parents Christopher C. & Ester M. Ashley.

Larry was preceded in death by both parents and his son, Adam G. Ashley.

Larry is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 55 years, Barbara Adams Ashley; his children: son, Bobby Ashley and wife Tina; son, Larry Ashley Jr. and wife Bernadette; daughter, Barbara Holdren and husband Chris; grandchildren, Robert Ashley and wife Dedria, Ryan Ashley and wife Michelle, Anthony Ashley, Larry Ashley III, Kenny Ashley and wife Emily, Nicole Bird, Meredith Ashley, John Wayne Ashley, Brady Holdren, Brandon Holdren, Bradley Holdren, Brennan Holdren, and Brent Holdren; sisters, Wanda Weide and husband Tim, Marian Terry, and Cora Lamar and husband Bobby; and numerous great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

Larry retired from ExxonMobil Pipeline Company in 2000. After retiring, he worked numerous consulting jobs around the world. Then he settled into full-time retirement in Bright Star, Arkansas, for many years before returning to Mont Belvieu in 2018.

Larry had a love for the country life. He enjoyed being on his tractor working the hay fields and his cattle. He was a member of Tomball Masonic Lodge #1096 and was a Mason for over 50 years. He made lasting friendships with the fellow members and others in the communities in which he lived.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, January 14, 2021, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home - Tomball, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375.

Funeral services will be private.
