Lance John Thompson

Lance John Thompson of Tomball, Texas was born September 14, 1992 and was the son of Craig Lee Thompson and Stephanie Harris Thompson and died Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the young age of 27.

Lance was kind and loved his family and friends. He graduated from Diboll High School, Diboll, Texas in 2011. At the time of death, he was employed with Mahindra Tractors. He was an avid fan of sports and played baseball, basketball and football beginning at the age of 6 through high school. He also had a passion for working on his vehicles from changing out sound systems, wheels, tires, and lighting to create a specific image, as all his friends knew. Lance became interested in video games at an early age and spend many hours playing with his friends. He loved playing Golden Tee with his Dad on the weekends.

Lance is survived by his parents Craig Lee Thompson and Stephanie Harris Thompson, sister Lauren Lee Thompson, nephew Grayson James Alvarado, grandparents Connie Lee Davis, John R Harris and Shirley J Harris, and Katie Mae Clayton. Also, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lance was preceded in death by his grandfather James Henry Thompson.

A gathering of Lances family and friends will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 1-2 pm at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, Texas. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with interment at Klein Park Cemetery located at 9714 FM 2920, Tomball, Texas.
