Lajean Volanski's Obituary
LaJean Volanski passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 29, 2019 in The Woodlands, Texas. She was born on March 25, 1961 in Trinity, Texas and resided in Magnolia, Texas at the time of her passing. LaJean was a graduate of Trinity High School and Sam Houston State University.
She was preceded in death by her brother, James "Boy" Roberts and her infant daughter Shiloh Lee Volanski.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Joseph Volanski of Magnolia, Texas, mother Dorothy Thornton of Trinity, Texas, father William Thornton and wife Patty of Crockett, Texas, sister Lynn Copley and husband John of Trinity, Texas, sister Jo Ann Rawlinson and husband Dwight of Nacogdoches, Texas, children Blaise Volanski and wife Carol of Magnolia, Texas, Aaron Volanski of Magnolia, Texas, and Tori Volanski of Houston, Texas, grandchildren Tripp Volanski and Caleb Volanski and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family would like to thank special friend and caregiver Kayla McCool for her devotion and companionship during the last year of her life until the very end.
A Rosary will be held at 5:00pm followed by a Visitation with the family until 8:30pm on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Klein Funeral Home - Magnolia. The Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Klein Funeral Home - Magnolia chapel followed by internment on site.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in LaJean's memory to St. Joseph's Indian School, PO Box 326, Chamberlain, SD, 57326, 800-859-3123 ( www.stjo.org/flowers ).
