Obituary

Dr. Kunle Olawale Adeyinka was born on September 18, 1954. Dr. Adeyinka's mother and father, late Alhaji Sunmola Olatunji and late Alhaja Nofisat Adunni Adeyinka, resided in Lagos, Nigeria where he was born the first son in a large, robust, and growing family.  He was always a natural leader full of laughter, joy, and is beloved by his siblings.

Dr. Adeyinka began his education pursuits at the Obele-Odan Primary School at Surulere, Lagos Nigeria, and he proceeded to St. Charles Grammar School, Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria, where he completed his secondary school education. He then enrolled at The Federal School of Science, Lagos Nigeria, where he attained his Advanced Level West African School Certificate.

After his matriculation and graduation, Dr. Kunle would briefly work at The National Population Commission Lagos (Census Office) where he would meet his beautiful wife of 50 years, Patience Adeyinka. They would begin their love story before he left the shores of Nigeria to pursue his ambitions and dreams in the United States of America in August 1975. Before leaving Nigeria, Dr. Kunle and Patience Adeyinka would be joined in holy matrimony in 1974.

Dr. Adeyinka upon arriving in the United States would initially reside in Columbia, South Carolina, where he would attain his associate's degree from Midlands Technical College. Dr. Adeyinka would then relocate to Houston, TX. Not relenting on his scholarly pursuit of educational excellence, he attended Texas Southern University, Houston TX, where he attained his bachelor's degree in business. His continued passion for education led him to attend Prairie View A & M University, in Prairie View, TX where he graduated with a master's degree in business administration.  Due to his diverse talents and interests Dr. Adeyinka would have diverse career pursuits as an executive chef, restauranter, business owner, and real estate agent before he would decide to pursue the highest academic degree and enrolled at The Chiropractic College, Pasadena, Texas, where he earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine.

Amid his academic and career pursuits, in July of 1979 his wife, Patience, would join him in Houston, TX. They would begin their family in April of 1980. They continued to grow together and eventually settled in Cypress, TX. His drive towards success would lead him to open his medical facility, Elite Chiropractic and Rehab, which he owned and operated. Dr. Adeyinka was a born again Christian and baptized by Pastor David Osho and Nathan Bridges. He was a dedicated and loyal member of the International Way of Life Ministry. Along with his love of education he was an avid reader, sports enthusiast, master chef, and philanthropist. He lived a full life and will be missed deeply by family, friends, and his entire community.

Dr. Adeyinka's legacy and impact will be remembered in the hearts of those of us who loved and cherished his giving nature, jovial spirit, and captivating wisdom. He touched many lives and his spirit lives through his many good works on earth. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Patience Adeyinka, his children Mr. Tosin Adeyinka, Mrs. Shola Ayodele, Mr. Tobi Adeyinka, Mrs. Seun Ajibulu, Ms. Elizabeth Adeyinka, his siblings, Mrs. Dolapo Olawoyin, Mr. Oladapo Adeyinka, Mrs. Olatokunboh Adeleye, Mr. Oladisun Adeyinka, Mrs. Olawunmi Gbalajobi, Mrs. Olamide Ogundare, Mr. Oladipo Adeyinka, Mrs. Olukemi Osunremi, Mr. Oladunjoye Adeyinka, Mr. Olalekan Adeyinka, Mrs. Olayinka Bamiduro, Ms. Omobola Adeyinka, Mrs. Taiwo Babarinsa, Mrs. Kehinde Salaudeen, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
