Kristin Elizabeth Francis went home to be with Jesus on March 16, 2021.
Since 2009, Kristin has lived at home recovering from an arterial venous malformation bleed and brain surgery. She worked hard at rehabilitation with much joy and grace. She was an encouragement to all she met with her winsome smile and friendly demeanor. Her motto was "Francises never quit." Her favorite Bible verse was Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
She maintained an active schedule with workouts at the YMCA, horseback at Joy Ride, piano therapy with Ms. Eddy, and women's Bible Study at Cypress Bible Church. For fun she enjoyed boating, tubing, floating and laying in the hammock at Lake Livingston. Of course, another favorite activity was eating, most especially dessert. In addition, she liked to play the card game Uno, as well as domino games with family and friends. Her competitive nature won her the title "Uno Queen."
Kristin was baptized at Cypress Bible Church in July 2015. She loved the Lord and would often tell people she saw that Jesus loved them. It was her simple Gospel message. Her joyful life shined through the great smile she readily shared with everyone. She chose joy and thankfulness despite her disability and loved to worship with singing, as she could learn new worship songs quickly. Kristin boldly declared her memory verses daily. We're confident she's in heaven with Jesus, healed and whole.
She demonstrated great love for her family, by singing songs like I Love You a Bushel and a Peck and a Hug Around the Neck, the Barney song I Love You, You Love me . . . Prayer time was always a competition of who loved whom the most.
Donations may be submitted to Joy Ride, 29550 Tudor Way, Magnolia, TX 77353 or The Gideons International.
Our sweet girl is survived by her loving parents Kevin and Kathlene Francis, her brother Kyle and wife Danielle, grandparents Bob and Anita Davis, and Tom and Pud Francis, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to encourage you to leave a comforting message and to upload your favorite photo to the photo gallery.
