Kristin Lee Duke, passed away suddenly on February 20th, 2017 at the age of 49 in Houston, Texas.
Kris is survived by his daughter, Shelby Rose Behunin of Dallas, Texas; his mother, Rosa Lee (Jump) Duke of Houston, Texas; his brother, Timothy Scott Duke of Houston, Texas; his nieces, Ashley (John Michael) Crist of Overland Park, Kansas and Whitney (Jose) Hurtado of Houston, Texas; his great niece, Iris, and his great nephew, Aaron.
Kris was born in Canton, Illinois on December 4th, 1967 to Eugene A. Duke and Rosa Lee (Jump) Duke. In 1974 Kris moved to Houston with his parents. He worked 30 years in and around the Houston area as a skilled machinist in the oil field industry. In his spare time Kris loved playing guitar, working on cars or motorcycles, and spending time with family.
On Friday March 3rd, a memorial service will be held at Covenant Lutheran Church 3785 Barker Cypress at 11 a.m. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Kristin's memory to Covenant Lutheran Church or National Alliance on Mental Illness.
