Kristen Nicole "Nikki" Jackson
November 29,1979 - February 25, 2017
37 years, 3 months, 26 days
Kristen Nicole (Nikki) Jackson went home to be with The Father after succumbing to cancer on Saturday, February 25, 2017. She was a native of Houston, Texas, and was residing in the Plantersville, Texas, at the time of her death. Nikki was an aspiring dance student for many years and was mentored by many well-known dance teachers: Rebecca Bourne of Becky's School of Dance, Margo Marshall and Houston City Ballet, Angela Jackson of American Academy of Dance, CeCe White of Cece's Performing Arts, Kim Collins, and Steven Boyd, just to name a few. She also studied at The International Ballet Competition (IBC) in Jackson, Mississippi, and received numerous awards in various dance competitions. Her greatest love was her children, so she traded her love of dance to be a mother.
Nikki worked at Whole Health Associates in the Houston Heights, The Kolache Factory, and Prestonwood Kennels in Houston, Texas. She had a vast love for both people and animals.
Nikki was loved by many, both family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Robert Fairbanks; her children, Jade - 19 years, Anthony - 14 years, and Ian - 5 years. She is also survived by her father, Randy Jackson; mother and stepfather, Karen and Michael Gaynor; and stepfather Paul Buck. Additionally, she is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Charity and Kurt Watts; a niece, Michaela McLaughlin; and a nephew, Ryan McLaughlin; along with other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She loved the Lord with her whole heart until the end and looked forward to spending eternity with Jesus. She is gone from our presence but she will never be forgotten.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 2, at Klein Funeral Home - Magnolia, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, TX 77354. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 3, in the funeral home chapel.
If desired, please consider a memorial donation in Nikki's name to the American Cancer Society.
