Obituary

Kimberly Sue Westfall , of Crowley, Texas, passed away on August 11, 2025, after a short illness. She was born on February 4, 1968, in Lincoln, Nebraska, and raised in Omaha. She graduated from Omaha Northwest High School in 1986 and later studied at Metropolitan Community College and the Fashion Institute of Houston.

Kim found her professional calling in the insurance industry, where she specialized in Medicare. For more than 25 years, she dedicated herself to her work, holding positions with Aetna CVS, American General, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska. She had a tireless work ethic, took pride in doing things right, and a deep care for the people she supervised.

Those who knew Kim will remember her as selfless and giving. She had a servant's heart, a sweet spirit, and a gift for making others feel valued and loved. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her large, blended family, where she was a steady source of laughter, support, and unconditional love.

Kim is survived by her mother, Janice Ramold Pivonka, and dad, Franklin G. Pivonka of Tomball; her brother, David (Carrie) Westfall of Cypress; her sister, Brenda (Ronald) Pivonka Lessner of Omaha; her brothers, Jeffrey (Sheri) Pivonka of Willis and Christopher (fiancée Natalie) Pivonka of Waller; and her longtime partner, John Malone of Crowley. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Riley (Matthew) Devoy, Shelby Westfall, Matthew Westfall, Jeffrey Pivonka, Jacob Pivonka, Faith Pivonka, and Destiny Pivonka, along with her two great-nephews, numerous cherished bonus nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Allen Westfall; stepmother, Judy; sister, Stacey Pivonka Cowling; and brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Yvonne Pivonka.

Family and friends will gather to honor Kim's life on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main Street, Tomball, TX 77375. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.

Kim's life was a testament to love. Though her time here was far too short, the sweetness she shared will continue to ripple through the lives of all who were blessed to know her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in her memory.
