Kimberly F. Thompson of Stafford, Texas, born July 6, 1964, in Bellaire, Texas, passed away at home on Monday January 24, 2022.
Kim graduated from Magnolia High School and worked as a hairdresser for five years, then as a rental leasing agent prior to staying home and raising her children. This was the career choice she was most passionate about and one in which she excelled. After this, she re-entered the work force where she served as an office assistant for two local dentists for 20 years.
She is survived by her husband Bill Thompson of Stafford, Tx., and her children Tyler Cleckley of Sweeny, Blake Cleckley of Richmond, Camryn Cleckley of Houston, Tyler Thompson of Stafford and Lindsey Pamatmat and husband Mikelo of Huffman, her mother Reida Faye Davis and husband Herschell of Hockley, Tx., her siblings Tammy Short of Houston, Donald Davis, and wife Beth of Canyon Lake, Tracy Davis and wife Denise of Tomball, Kim Eschberger and husband Mark of Jacinto City, Christine Budak and husband Frank of Sugarland, sister in-law Becky Knoche and husband Randy of Colorado Springs, Co and brother in-law Brian Thompson of Newburgh, IN., her nieces and nephews Brett Short, Chloe Short, Cody Owen, Emilie Budak, Christian Davis, Jacob Davis, Micah Davis, Jeffery Davis, Shayne Davis, Ashley Childress, Rebecca Eschberger, James Eschberger, Kristi Gupta, Jennifer Stroup, Travis Knoche, Megan DeMartino, and Samantha Oak. Also survived by her grandmonkeys Frannie and Peach, and fur babies Shadow and JoJo.
Kim is preceded in death by her father Francis Chris Gertson and wife Carmen, her brother Darrell Gene Gertson and her cousin Jessica Mae Crenshaw, with whom she shared a special bond, and by both her paternal and maternal grandparents.
