Kimberly Anne Sandiford (Murray)
Kimberly passed into the next life early in the morning on June 12.
Kim was born in Houston, Texas, and grew up in Dayton, Texas. She went to Dayton High school, where she was on the Cross Country team. Kim graduated class of 1994. After high school, Kim continued her Schooling at Bradford College and received an office administration certificate. Kim Married Patrick Platzer on December 23, 1995. January of 1999, Kimberly Started working at ABS group as a Human Resource Apprentice. In May of 1999, Kimberly's First Child, Collin Platzer, was born. Kimberly and Patrick would divorce in July of 2004. Kim focused on being great in her professional life, and an excellent mother to her son. In September of 2005, Kimberly Married her Husband, Jason Sandiford. In January of 2006, she left her Job at ABS group. In July of the same year, she started as the Human Resource Manager at Rig-Net and in August of 2006, Jason and Kim welcomed their daughter Samantha Sandiford into the world. Kim would continue to work until January of 2010, she was soon after Diagnosed with Lupus, which caused her great pain, but she battled and took it day by day, Being a loving wife and fantastic mother. In January of 2020, Kim was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She was never scared and never questioned God's plan for her. She remained positive and never wavered in her fight. In May of 2021, Kim learned she had an extremely rare, terminal form of brain cancer called leptomeningeal carcinomatosis. Knowing she had such limited time left, she chose to go out on her terms, and after completing treatment, she planned to make as many memories with her family as she could. Her faith never wavered. She stayed strong until the end. In her final days, she was at peace. She passed at home surrounded by her closest family. Kim was an avid reader. She also enjoyed fishing, making art, taking on home projects, and being creative.
Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Sybil Murray, and Bill and Velma Bledsoe.
Kim is survived by her parents Gary and Connie Murray, sister Stacie Viator, Husband Jason Sandiford, and Children Samantha Sandiford and Collin Platzer.
Kimberly Sandiford's Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 18, at Klein Funeral Park in Tomball 1400 W Main St, Tomball, TX 77375
