Kimberly Kay Kohler, affectionally known as KK, was born in Houma, Louisiana on January 21, 1978, and passed away in Tomball, Texas on August 3, 2022.

She is survived by her daughter, Kylee K. smith; her parents, John Kohler, Jr. and Paulette Kohler; brother, John Kohler, III and wife Lynda; nieces, Emily Hale and Stevie Kirby; and numerous other family members, friends, and students.

Kimberly graduated from Cy-Creek High School. After graduation she attended Sam Houston State University and graduated with a Bachelor Science degree in Animal Science, with an emphasis on education.

Her love of plants, animals, and softball followed her throughout her life. She taught high school Agriculture Science for 20 years. She also coached softball. As an educator Kim touched the lives of many students. She took great pleasure in seeing her students succeed.

She was a dedicated Mom and her true love was her daughter, Kylee. Kimberly will forever be in our hearts.

A graveside service for Kimberly at St. Joseph Cemetery 949 Menard Street Thibodaux, Louisiana is to be held August 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
