Kevin Scott Varsel was welcomed into the arms of the Father Wednesday morning, October 26, 2016 and joined his beloved brother Chuck Jr. He was a Klein resident since his teen age years. Kevin was born January 29, 1959 , in Richmond, Virginia.

During his life here Kevin worked on oil rigs, drove tractor trailers across the U.S. and was a "jack of all trades". You could usually spot him in his black cowboy hat and silver pick up. His heroes included John Wayne, The Rifleman, George Straight and most of all his dad. Kevin was an American history buff and could talk in detail about the wars the U.S. fought, especially WW II. He truly admired the military and the U.S. Navy SEALS and often wore shirts with the trident proudly displayed. Kev loved to two step in C&W dance halls and his friends liked his Texas drawl and sense of humor. We will miss him and hold him forever in our hearts but are sure he and brother, Chuck, are just fine. Kevin loved this country and was about making America great again.

He is survived by his parents, Charles Sr. and Shirley Varsel; brother, Mark Varsel and wife Susan; sisters, Deborah Varsel, Kathleen Busa and husband Dan and Karen Keilers and husband Ronnie; and numerous neices and nephews .

He was preceded in death by his brother Charles Varsel Jr.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday, Nov. 2nd , from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service starting at 7:00 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home, Champion Forest. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Nov. 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church . Interment to follow at Klein Memorial Park, State Hwy 249 .
