Kevin McDaniel, formerly of Magnolia, has passed away Saturday morning.
Kevin was born on August 12, 1963 to Gayhyardt Ted McDaniel and Mayrene Jean Dossman in Tomball, Texas.
Kevin spent much of his childhood in Galena Park before his parents moved back to Tomball.
He was a graduate of Tomball High School class of 1981. He always talked about the fun he had with his dad and grandpa going fishing when he was a boy. In his youth he loved his red Chevy truck and would drive it with pride.
After graduating from Tomball in 1981 he married his high school sweetheart Loucinda Harget in 1983. They lived in Tomball and went on to have two children Nathan and Colby.

Kevin's favorite hobbies were fishing with his dad and grandpa and tinkering with his CB and Ham radios. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and cooking for his family.
Kevin spent much of his working career at Ace Hardware and then went to work at an industrial company until he was in a major accident driving a truck that left him disabled.
In 2017 Kevin found out he had prostate cancer and received treatment, but not until recently in February 2023 did he discover that the prostate cancer had returned and that it had already become bone cancer. Kevin passed away peacefully in his home on May 13, 2023 with his immediate family by his side.
