Obituary

On November 8, 1966, Kevin left the presence of God and entered the world to fulfill the plan and purpose of God for his life. He was born to the union of Donald and Gay Kays in New Orleans, LA. He attended Holy Cross and East Jefferson High School. Along the way, he became interested in music and played the trombone. He played football and threw the shot put and discus where he currently holds the State Record (allegedly LOL).

His outstanding athletic ability earned him a scholarship in football at Copiah Lincoln Jr. College in Wesson, MS. Upon Graduating, Kevin began his career in the Oil and Gas Industry, where he worked for 20 plus years. He was employed by Vault Pressure Control in Houston, TX. Kevin was an exceptional cook. His passion for cooking led him to open Who Dats Crawfish of Cypress TX in 2013.  He was an avid New Orleans Saints Fan and found great pleasure in letting others know how inadequate there team was. LOL   Kevin gave his life to the lord later in life after experiencing Gods love and faithfulness.

Kevin departed this life and entered the presence of God on August 5th 2024

Kevin is survived by his loving and dedicated wife, Sharon Brown Kays and his three daughters, Shelby (Folsom, LA), Karrington and Kennedy Kays.
