Kevin Neil Hargrove of Tomball, Texas passed away suddenly on August 14, 2020, at the age of 62. Kevin was born on April 20, 1958 in El Paso, Texas to Mitzie Boyle and Nelson "Bud" Hargrove.

With his family, Kevin lived in several areas of Houston before graduating from Conroe High School in 1976. He graduated from the Institute of Electronic Science of Texas A&M in 1978, which led to a career in IT security that spanned over 40 years.

Kevin filled his free time with fun dates to Dave and Busters and Billy Blues with his daughter Whitney, who was his world.  He met his wife, Amy in 1999 through a mutual friend, and the three of them bonded instantly.  The two were married on December 29, 2001, in Houston, Texas. Kevin and Amy lived in Tomball with their children, Whitney, Garrett, Landon, and Carson.

Throughout his life, Kevin was an avid collector that showed his vast array of interests and hobbies, from cars to rock collecting to antique barometers. Kevin loved the outdoors and enjoyed annual kayaking trips down the Pecos River and time at the deer lease in San Saba, Texas. A talented musician, Kevin's guitar was never far from reach at family gatherings, and he joyfully served as a member of the worship team at the Fellowship of Champions Church for 14 years. His gift for storytelling, and ability to light up a room with his unique dance moves and corny jokes will be dearly missed.

Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Nelson "Bud" Hargrove, and daughter, Erin Hargrove. He is survived by his wife, Amy Hargrove, of Tomball, Texas, daughter Whitney and son-in-law Ethan Etzel of Houston, sons Garrett, Landon, and Carson Hargrove, of Tomball, granddaughter, Everly Etzel of Houston, parents, Mitzie and Sherman Clark, of The Woodlands, sister Dawn and brother-in-law Shannon Hoover of The Woodlands, sister Shawn and husband Jeff Kominek of LaPorte, TX and brother Trevor Hargrove of Spring, TX as well as many other extended family members and friends.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of M.D. Anderson for their care and assistance over the last 6 months. A memorial service will be held on August 29 ^th at 11 AM at Community of Faith Church in Hockley, TX.
