Kerthene Jones Byrd, 79, of Houston, Tx, passed away November 23, 2025.  Kerthene was born October 29, 1946, in Tamina, Texas to the late Kethon Jones and Mattie L. Jones.

She is survived by her children daughter Rosalind Richmond, son Christopher Byrd, and daughter Kimberly Byrd-Doud. Brothers Levartes Hendricks, Kenneth Jones, Willie Jones, and Myron Jones. Grandsons Trevonne Bradley, Christopher Bradley, granddaughter Anaya Byrd, Alexis Byrd, grandson Jerry Bradley Jr., granddaughter Jerrica Bradley, grandson Jordan Hodge, granddaughter Nevaeh Hodge; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her brothers and sisters in Christ.

Including her parents she was preceded in death by her son Jerry W. Bradley.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 28, 2025, at 1pm at Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery 2426 Cullen Blvd, Pearland, TX 77581, with Brother Ben King.  Interment to follow in CEMETERY.

Serving as pallbearers are Trevonne Bradley (grandson), Christopher Bradley, Jerry Bradley Jr., Ronald Carter, Cory Jones, Christopher Hawkins, James Hawkins, and Dewayne Sterling.
