Kent Kaye Klein, age 70, a life-long member of Zion Lutheran Church, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020. He was born on January 17, 1950 in Tomball, Texas. Kent graduated from Tomball High School, class of 1968, and graduated from the University of Houston. Kent was the head coach at Tomball Junior High. He loved all sports, particularly Astros games, golfing, fishing, and hunting. He enjoyed talking about real estate. He took great pleasure in his property in Whitehall by working the land and managing his cows, and sharing this experience with his family and friends. Kent was a loving grandfather and attended every grandkid's choir, play, and sporting event. His grandkids loved riding on the tractor with him while feeding the cows. He was also lovingly referred to as Dear, Dad, Pops, Grandpa, and Ace. He loved his wife and kids with all his heart. He taught them the importance of family and God.
Kent is preceded in death by his parents George and Erna Klein and sister Georgia Mundinger. He is survived by his loving wife Eileen (Lee) Klein, his daughter Heather Roy and her husband Taylor and their children Marshall, Layla, Lucas, Mason and Harper; his son Christian Klein; and his daughter Mandy Byers and her husband Justin and their children Duke and Logan. He is also survived by his siblings Gertie Mae Chenault, Maxine Monroe, Bert Klein, and Sherry Matthews. Your family loves you and you will live in our hearts forever.
