Kenneth Wayne McCurdy, 82, of Tomball, passed away March 14, 2018. He was born November 21, 1935, in Van Buren, Arkansas to the late Keener and Wincy McCurdy.

Kenneth McCurdy was a successful masonry contractor in the Houston Metroplex and surrounding areas for over 50 years. As a friendly, caring pillar of the community, Kenneth touched many lives with his humor, friendliness and generosity. All who have been blessed to know him have experienced his devoted love for family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Jo Marie Ash McCurdy; Daughters, Gloria Matthews & husband Jack, Gail House & husband Michael, Terry West & husband Gary, Annette Marriott, and Sue Marriott & partner Ann Kelley; Sons, Kenneth McCurdy Jr., Paul McCurdy & wife Barbara, and Michael Marriott; Sister, Betty Sanders & husband Harold; Sister-in-Law, Ann McCurdy; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Including his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 36 years, Lillian Adell McCurdy; Son, Gary Allen Groda; Sister, Mildred Otwell & brother-in-law Earl; Brothers, Harold McCurdy, Leroy McCurdy and sister-in-law Dorothy McCurdy.

The family will receive visitors Friday, March 16th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home - Tomball. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 17th at 3:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home - Tomball, Rev. Craig Dohse officiating. Interment to follow in Klein Memorial Park - FM 2920.

Serving as pallbearers are Mark Whitehead, Darryl Whitehead, Glenn Whitehead, Richard Otwell, Wesley Otwell, and Robert "Beak" Johnson.
