Obituary

Kenneth William Lee, 71, of Magnolia, Texas, passed away August 22nd, 2024. Ken was
born May 11th, 1953, in Huntington Park, California to the late Russell William Lee and
Evelyn (Watry) Montoya.

Ken worked hard his entire life. At the young age of 6 he could be found picking
strawberries and cotton with his brother Richard in Arkansas. By the time he was 13 he
was both working and living on a dairy farm and milking cows before ever heading off to
school.

Ken moved to Tomball Texas in 1971 and graduated from Tomball High School in 1972.
He was accustomed to moving and had several more moves after graduation but in 1974
he made his final move back to the Tomball area. Ken became a businessman and opened
Ken's Furniture in 1976 which he later changed to Parkway Furniture. He retired from
the furniture business in 2009

Ken kept busy during retirement with various business opportunities but he also found
time to appreciate life. He loved to be on the water fishing, but also enjoyed riding dirt
bikes, snow skiing and camping. He enjoyed listening and playing country music, and of
course drinking "a cold one" but most of all he cherished hanging out and going on
adventures with his wife and best friend, Rebecca.

Ken loved his family deeply and we loved him. He will be forever missed.

As Ken would say "Laissez le bon temps rouler" Let the good times roll

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Lee; daughter, Stacey (Sean) McDonald,
daughter, Kelley (Christopher) Ladd, son, Spencer (Stephanie) Lee; grandchildren, Katie
McDonald, Kellen McDonald, Clayton Brookins, Chloe Ladd, Claire Ladd, Calyn Ladd,
Sami Lee, Stockton Lee; sisters, Charlotte Gibbs, Christine Burt, Michelle Clegg, brother,
Richard Lee; along with many nieces and nephews and numerous friends

.
Including his parents Ken was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Lee.
