Ken graduated from the University of Wichita, KS with a BS in Math and Physics.
Married Kay Travis in 1964. Fathered four sons: Kirk, wife Renée, son Austin; Kyle,
wife Veronica, sons Taylor, Ian, Aedan, and daughter Alexa; Craig, wife Ana, sons
Max and Finn; and Cris, wife Dolores.

He was employed by Praxair for 33 years; a member and volunteer with the Knight's of
Columbus and Mended Hearts; a volunteer at several parishes, and a volunteer in his
neighborhood community, and Meals on Wheels.

Ken was preceded in death by his father, Francis William Hein, his mother, Genevieve
Moan Hein and his brother, James Joseph Hein.

Ken's sisters and brother reside in Wichita: Janet and husband Bob Hay; Mary and
husband Bob Hetherington; and Mike and wife Pam.

He was happiest being with family and friends.
