Kenneth David Albrecht, Kenny, was born on May 18, 1971 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He moved to Houston at age 8, growing up in Spring. After graduating from Westfield High School in 1989, Kenny attended The University of Texas where he graduated with honors in Mechanical Engineering. His love for engineering influenced his career where he had the opportunity to work in multiple cities and countries. His last endeavor was with Woodside Energy, here in Houston.
He and Heather married in 2001 after being friends since freshman year of high school. They had 2 beautiful children and enjoyed traveling the world on assignments in the oil industry.
Kenny enjoyed his dogs, snowboarding, traveling, boating, tinkering in the garage and most of all, spending time with his beloved family.
He is preceded in death by his sister Jennifer Albrecht, father, J. David Albrecht and nephew Justin Roesler.
He is survived by his wife, Heather, his daughter Sydney, his son Koby, his mother K. Elaine Albrecht, sister Pam Smith, brother-in-law Glenn Smith, brother John (Jack) Albrecht, sister-in-law Lara Albrecht, sister Janette Roesler and brother-in-law Mike Roesler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service for Kenny will be held on Monday, May 12th at 11 am at Spring Woods United Methodist Church, 1711 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston TX 77090.
