Kelly Rita Thornton was born in Denver, Colorado on September 17, 1958, and passed away in The Woodlands, Texas on August 9, 2021.

Kelly was a dedicated mother, she treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved being Jamma to all her grandkids. She had a strong, spirited personality, was a devoted wife and best friend, quilter extraordinaire, master cook, and faithful Christian servant.

She is preceded in death by her grandson, Jackson Dunlap.

Kelly is survived by her loving husband, David Thornton; her children, Sean Dunlap and wife Joline, Mindy Leggett and husband Larry, and Isaac Thornton and fiancé Ronni; and grandchildren, Mackenzie, Noah, Sloane, Caleb, Lukas, Jude, and Maddox.

Kelly's family will receive friends and loved ones for visitation from 5-8pm on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Klein Funeral Home, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, TX 77354.  A funeral service for Kelly will be held at 10am on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Klein Funeral Home Magnolia, to be immediately followed by committal in Klein Memorial Park.
