Katie Mullen, 79, is preceded in death by her Father, Mother and cherished son, Michael Mullen.

She is survived by her two loving daughters: Teresa Henderson and husband Mason and Christy Firth and husband Gary and her cherished grandchildren: Ginger Garcia and husband Cipriano, Sean Rogers, Ashley Mullen and Mason Henderson and her adored great grandchildren: Triston Rogers, Alexis O'Donnell and Kenyon Rogers.

Katie will always be remembered by her children and grandchildren for her loving nature, witty humor, lively spirit and amazing storytelling. Her children will always cherish her stories that would transcend them into amazing fantasy worlds. Her grandchildren, who knew her as Pawpaw, would also partake in some of her storytelling, including her ongoing tales of Sir Thomas Toad.

She was also known for her fantastic story writing and poetry. She even had her poem 'Our Flag' published in hard copy of 'Great Poems of Our Time' in the National Library of Poetry.

We are forever grateful that she no longer feels any pain. She will always be loved and cherished and forever be our guardian angel, watching from heaven above.

A private service will be held for her family on Thursday, Aug.25, 2016.
