Katie Ellen Johnson, 1979 – 2019

Katie Ellen Johnson, age 39, passed from this earth after battling kidney disease for the last several years on Saturday, July 20, 2019 in Houston, TX. Katie was born on August 24, 1979 in Dallas, TX.  She graduated from Westfield High School where she was a member of the drill team.  Thereafter Katie remained in the Houston area for the remainder of her life.

Katie was a caring and compassionate woman who was fiercely loved by her family and friends. She was beautiful inside and out and would do whatever she could for anyone in need.  Katie will forever be in our thoughts, our hearts, and our memories.

Katie is survived by her son Dylan Gleason, daughter Alicia Gleason, mother Cindy Johnson and her companion Leo Janowski, her father Randall Johnson and stepmother Gloria Johnson, brother Jordan Johnson, sister Stefani Salinas, step brother Justin Bergstein, grandmother Carolyn Johnson, nephews Shane Storey and Aidan Salinas, brother in law Omar Salinas and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Friday July 26, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Klein Funeral Home located at 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring, TX 77379.

A memorial service in celebration of Katie's life will be on Saturday July 27 at 2 p.m. at Klein Funeral home, 16131 Champion Forest Dr., Spring, TX 77379
