Kathy Sue Foster, beloved wife of John Kenneth Foster, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. Kathy, 63, passed away at her home in Tomball, Texas.
Kathy was born on June 13, 1956, in Oklahoma, where she spent many years before moving to Texas. She loved sports and played high school softball and basketball.
Kathy was known in her youth for witnessing to total strangers on the streets of her home town.
Kathy and John were married for 42 years and their love, devotion, respect and admiration for each other was boundless. Family and faith were the most important things in Kathy's life. She had a special heart for all children and spent many years in children's ministry. She inspired many people in her lifetime and left an indelible print upon the hearts of those who had the honor of knowing her.
Kathy is survived by her husband, John, her son, Shawn Foster, her daughter, Jessica Thayer and son in law, Paul Thayer. She was blessed by four grandchildren that were the special light and love of her heart, John Michael Foster, Katelin Foster, Aaron Thayer and Abel Thayer. Kathy's beautiful mother, Sue Unsell, preceded her and was there, along with her mother in law and father in law, Ken and Johnnie Foster, to welcome Kathy home to Jesus. Kathy is also survived by her father, James Unsell, her sister, Tammy Angel and brother in law, Jimmy Angel, sister Karla Harris and brother in law, Jeff Harris, sister Kalinda DeMarco, and brother in law, Steve DeMarco, sister in law, Deby Berkowitz and brother in law, Lew Berkowitz, and family of her heart, Paul and Sara Thayer. Kathy also leaves behind many cousins, nephews, nieces and multitudes of friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 18, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at the Klein Funeral Home - Tomball, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, Texas 77375.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm, at the River of Praise/Greater Life Church, 13215 Boudreau Estates Drive, Tomball, Texas, 77377.
