Kathryn Janet Frazier Hall Wiechman was born on July 3, 1930, in Gillsburg, Mississippi, and passed from this world in Montgomery, Texas, on July 18, 2021, into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Some called her Ja'net, Janet, Jan, Momma, Gram or GiGi.   She was one of 10 children.  Janet has one living sibling Nora Gene Frazier Williams. Janet is preceded in death by her first husband Waudell Iverson Hall, by her parents Thomas Dewitt Frazier  and Lois Lorena Bates Frazier, by her siblings Wiley Dewitt Frazier, Thomas Firman Frazier, Sr., Mary Mae Frazier Thompson, Stella Opal Frazier Roussel, Ralph Lester Frazier,  Baby William Alex Frazier, Hugh Ray Frazier, Sr., Willie Merle Frazier Seal, and her second husband Leonard Robert Wiechman. Janet is survived by her daughters Tawanda Hall Johnson and her family, Joy Lynn, Keith and Sarah and their families, as well as Kathryn Hall Clair and her husband Terence Clair and their family, Myles, Matt, and Kayte and their families.  She has numerous nieces and nephews and friends which are too great to name but all were loved.

Janet started out her life on a farm in a family with 8 siblings in Gillsburg, Mississippi.  Her father was a hard-working farmer who tried to make ends meet to feed their children.  Her mother worked just as hard raising the nine gifts God gave she and Dewitt.  Janet often talked about the meals that her mother would prepare and when dinner was over they would all go outside and sing hymns to the Lord.  Hard but sweet times.

A few of the jobs Janet held were Marilyn Casualty Co., Travelers Insurance Co., Secretary of First Baptist Church of Magnolia for many years and Missionary to Yellowstone Baptist College for over 20 years.  She was active in the volunteers for the VA, always active in her church as Sunday School Teacher, teaching the Girl's Auxiliary, coaching the Girl's Auxiliary softball team at Barkley Baptist Church, singing in the church choirs, and as late as 2017 she sang in the Huntsville Community Choir in Huntsville, Texas.

Janet's passion was to tell others about Christ.  Even in her last days she was spreading the Good News to the lost.  This was her service   and to that end she can say, "I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ."
