Kathleen Rineholt, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024. Kathleen was born on May 17, 1949 to Frank and Dorothy Connors.  She grew up in Belleville, Illinois in a household filled with love, laughter, and a strong sense of family.

Kathy was known for her kind heart, unwavering generosity, infectious smile. She touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a deep love for animals, especially her dogs and cats, who brought her immense joy and companionship throughout her life. Kathleen's nurturing spirit extended to all living things, and she formed special bonds with each of her beloved pets.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Colleen and Rusty Pierce.

Kathy, affectionately named "AK" many years ago is also survived by her twin nieces and nephew and their families.   Jenny Parish and husband Josh Parish and great niece Maddy Parish, Julie Kimich and husband Tim Kimich,  great nephew Larkin Kimich, and great nieces Reagan, Ryleigh, and Ainsley Kimich, Jarrod Pierce and wife Michelle Pierce, and great nieces Jordyn and Hannah Pierce.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Dorothy Connors and long time friend and mentor, Marjorie Stovall.

Kathleen's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her love, kindness, and the positive impact she made in this world, as well as for her devotion to her beloved animals.
