Kathleen Ann (Gaylor)-Kominczak, 55 of Spring TX passed away October 5th 2023.  Kathleen "Kathy" was born August 20th 1968 in the heights area in Houston TX From the moment she could, she worked to help her single mom provide for her large family starting her first job at Clayton's grocery store at the age of 16 soon after, she graduated John H. Reagan high school in 1986. At the age of 21  she gave birth to her only child Meagan Elise Kominczak on April 16th 1990 that same year on October 30th high school sweethearts Kenneth and Kathleen married in the courts followed by a Christian marriage at Christ the good Shepard Catholic Church on May 22nd,1993 remaining married for 30 years.  During this time she moved with her young family to spring TX continuing to work, holding many jobs over the years including med STOP with her mother, southern floral as a receptionist, Spring Green Cottage in old town spring as a salesperson and art framer, Ehrhardt elementary as a nurses assistant and assisted with vision and hearing tests, executive assistant/nanny to dr. Clara Scott at my family vet, finally working as live in home healthcare assistant and nanny for a friend of the family. She was very artistic in more ways than one being a dancer growing up she also and had an eye for all things art that shined through most notably in August when she would start preparing for Halloween and the unforgettable parties Kenneth and Kathy would throw with many family and friends in attendance. She would transform the house with handmade decorations as well as make costumes, and even a full sized suit of armor out of duct tape and poster board. Not only a lover of Halloween but equally so a lover of Christmas with themed Christmas trees each year especially while working for southern floral. She also had a love for music especially Phil Collins, 1970's as well as classic rock. Anyone who knew her also knew of her affinity for collecting antique keys and doorknobs as she knew how to see the beauty in things others may not think about.  She was always eager to help people and was fun loving, and cared very deeply for others and will be missed by many.  Kathleen is preceded in death by her mother and father Marcie and Don Cook, older sister Mary Martin, twin sister Kristine Gaylor, sister in law Monica Kominczak and father in law Richard Kominczak.  She is survived by her husband Kenneth Kominczak, daughter Meagan Kominczak, and mother in law Paulette Kominczak.
