Katherine Lee Angerstein Roesler passed away quietly on Sunday morning, February 27, 2022 at the age of 76, following a prolonged illness.  She was born on December 10, 1945 in Houston, TX.  She was the youngest child of Robert and Sara Angerstein.  She grew up in The Heights and graduated from Reagan High School.  She attended the University of Houston where she earned a degree in Education. While completing her student teaching, she met Jerry Roesler.  They married in 1967 and moved to Tomball soon after.  Their sons, Jeff and David, were born in 1971.

Kathy taught in Tomball ISD for 20 years.  She was most remembered for teaching 9 ^th grade English at Tomball High School.  She retired in 1998.  She spent the past 14 years as a devoted grandmother to Sara, Eric, Dean and Scott.  She also enjoyed gatherings with her high school friends and former teaching colleagues and was an active member at Zion Lutheran Church in Houston.

A graveside service will be held at Klein Memorial Park – Tomball (32539 SH 249, Pinehurst, TX  77362) on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kathy's name to the American Cancer Society.
