Katherine Jeanette Burts, 83, passed from this life on August 11, 2024 in Tomball, TX surrounded by her loved one's. She was born to the late William and Helen Dehay on December 20, 1940 in Rosehill, TX.

Katherine was known for her compassion, giving spirit and a faithful member of her church for 60 plus years and was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer words of comfort to whomever needed it. Additionally, she was dedicated to her career and was married to her beloved husband, Leonard E Burts for 66 years. Katherine's personality brought warmth and joy to everyone she encountered, and her passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved her. Katherine's memory will remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those who were privileged to know her. Her legacy will live on for generations to come, inspiring those around her with her kindness, generosity, and unforgettable spirit.

She is preceded in death by her parents William Dehay and Helen Dehay, and her son Barry Burts.

A visitation will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a funeral service to immediately start at 2:00 pm at Salem Lutheran Church. A burial will follow at Klein Memorial Park-249 in Pinehurst, TX.
