Kate Denoux Politz, 94, died Monday, February 28, 2022, in Cypress, TX. Kate was born November 30, 1927, in Brusly McCall, LA, to the late Sabin and Lucy Dugas Denoux.

Survivors include son, Tim Politz, daughter Cathy Mayson and husband John; son-in-law Paul Brown; grandchildren, Brent Mayson, Cheri Mayson Longan, Angie Politz Guinn, Courtney Politz Lullo and Taylor Politz Trinchini; great-grandchildren, Danielle Longan Salazar, Caleb Longan and Joseph Mayson; and great great-grandchildren, Knox Salazar and Sloan Salazar. Kate was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Anthony J. "Pina" Politz, daughter, Terry Politz Brown, sisters, Armide Falcon, Agnes Berot, Ann Theriot, Lucy Dias, Zoe Rivet, and brothers, Howard Denoux Sr., Noel Denoux Sr., Sabin "Sam" Denoux Jr. and J. Lee Denoux.

Visitation in Houston, TX will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Klein Funeral Home – Cy-Fair – Northwest.

Visitation will be at St. Anne Catholic Church, Napoleonville, LA, on Friday, March 11, 2022, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
