Kassidy was born on March 24, 1986 in Houston, Texas to Cynthia and Bruce McCauley.  She is survived by her children Karsyn McCauley and Forrest Chelakis III. Mother, Cynthia McCauley; Father, Robert Bruce McCauley; Brother, Hunter McCauley; Sister, Sharla Jahnke and husband Gregory Jahnke; niece, Lacey and nephews, Logan and Caden Jahnke; Grandparents, Joyce McCauley and Sue and Roy Dacus; Preceded in death by Carolyn Dacus and Fred Robert McCauley.

Kassidy was a dedicated mother, daughter, sister and friend, who's beautiful smile would light up a room and bring joy to everyone. She was a girly girl who was also a marksman who loved to hunt and shoot with her dad and grandpa. Her shooting skills were never debated by her brother because she held the trophy buck and won the shooting contest at Heart Acres.

Her other passions were makeup artistry and music. She had a beautiful voice which she rarely shared with others.

After years of struggling through addiction, she committed herself to recovery and found a new passion, her greatest, helping others with their recovery. Kassidy found freedom and peace in her purpose through Jesus Christ and she is now the guardian angel to her children Karsyn and Forrest. Kassidy's daily prayer was "God I am grateful that I can come to You just as I am. I know that sometimes I make mistakes but thank you for being a God who forgives and restores. I am sorry for the things I have done in the past. Please continue to renew me each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.
