Karla Wilridge, 56, of Houston passed away, February 8, 2023, after a long and hard-fought journey after suffering several strokes in July 2022. Karla was born on March 19, 1966, in Giddings, Texas to Willie Neal. She married Van Wilridge on May 12, 1990. Karla was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, Gigi, sister, friend, and colleague. Karla enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. Karla also enjoyed being a teacher at numerous Montessori schools, mentoring young adults, and serving others.

She is survived by her husband, Van Wilridge, daughter, Imaniece Wilridge, daughter, Megan Wilridge, grand daughter, Tytiana Smith, mother, Willie Neal, stepfather, Otis Neal, sister, Jacqueline White, sister, Dianna Hall, and countless other cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
