Karen Virginia Webb, "Kay", 83, of Spring, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2025 at the home of her daughter Kimberly surrounded by her family. She was born on February 5, 1942 in Washington, D.C. to James Harper and Ellen Douglas Friley Harper. Kay grew up in Jackson, MS and graduated from Smiley High School in Houston, Texas in 1960 where she was voted most popular (which is no surprise to those that knew her). On January 10, 1964 Kay married Richard Webb in Houston, Texas. Together they built a life serving the Lord and raised two girls, Susan and Kimberly.

Kay raised her girls full-time then later went to work part-time at The Leader Newspaper as assistant to the Editor. She was very dearly loved by all of her co-workers. She was part of the launch team for HISplace Family Church, served on staff for 20 years, and served in various areas for over 31 years. Kay was a teacher of God's Word for over 50 years, teaching overseas, in homes, Sunday School, and in church.

Kay impacted the lives of many by her encouraging words and by always pointing people back to God's Word and His promises. She believed that He would see them through no matter what the circumstances and her life was a testimony to that fact.

Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Richard and brother and sister in law Larry and Jo Harper. She is survived by; children Susan (Mark) Miller and Kimberly (Doug) Bartsch; grandchildren Steven (Nicole), Austin, Spencer (Kayli), Bailey (Chad) and Priscilla and great-grandchildren, Natalie, Jonathan, Jameson and Adaline as well as nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 15, 2025 at 10:30 am at HisPlace Family Church, Spring, Texas. A private burial will take place prior to the Celebration of Life.
