Karen Renee Swaim's Obituary
Karen Swaim resident of Spring, Texas passed away on October 12th, 2017 at Saint Luke's hospital at the age of 43.
Karen was born in Houston, Texas on October 8th, 1974 and raised in Spring, Texas. Karen attended Oak Ridge High School and was a member of the drill team. Karen previously worked as a loan officer and spent her later years in the most important role of all, as a mother to her four beautiful children, Madison (19), Bailey (17), Aidan (9) and Grayson (4).
Karen had a personality larger than life, she was authentic, a beautiful spirit, generous, vivacious and had a sarcastic sense of humor. Karen was a fighter, a survivor, she was spunky and had the sweetest freckled face. Her laugh could light up a room and she had the ability to give you that one look and you knew she was saying "really, seriously?." She could find a coupon for anything and I bet we will still find coffee cups all over the house because she forgot where she put them. Why find it when she can make another? She loved a good beat and enjoyed watching Grayson dance to the old school rap, playing card games with Bailey, and shopping with her oldest Madison.
Those who are left behind will miss Karen deeply, her husband Chad Swaim, mother and stepfather Sherlyn and Charles Shotwell, father Rayford Glover, her children, Madison, Bailey, Aidan and Grayson, her sister Rhonda Glover, mother and father in law John and Janice Swaim, brother and sister in law Brad and Amanda Swaim Powell and her loving stepsisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.
Karen was predeceased by Weldon & Velma Britt Holder and Ernie & Louise Sikes Glover.
The celebration of Karen's life will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on October 17th, 2017 at Stonebridge Church with Pastor Joe McKinney officiating.
