Karen Marie Stolarski (Hebert), of Tomball, TX passed away surrounded by loved ones on November 22, 2023 after an unrelenting battle with breast cancer at age 66. She was born in Houston, Texas on September, 19, 1957. Upon graduation from St. Pius X, she served a loyal 30 years at Southwestern Bell/AT&T as a Clerk and Union Representative. After retiring, she played an integral part in the fundraising efforts at St. Edwards Catholic Church. She was endearingly known as a faithful member of the 'Basket Ladies' who curated exquisite auction baskets which raised funds for the church.
Karen was never one to say 'no' to an opportunity to share her creative talents. In retirement, she not only volunteered, she staged homes and worked intermittently at a home décor boutique in Tomball. Karen's greatest promotion came in 2016 when she earned the title of "Nana" when Everett was born. Again, in early 2023, she got her wish and was blessed with a forever shopping partner when Sophia was born.
Karen and her husband of 36 years, Robert spent every moment they could with their grandchildren. Robert will no doubt continue Karen's fun traditions of playing and spoiling! Karen's friends and family were truly her lifeblood. She loved visits from her cousins, Jessica and Mary Beth from Louisiana, back porch chats with her neighbors, Kathy and Jim, decorating for Mardi Gras with Mabel, watching the Astros with her sister, Kim, and shopping QVC with her sisters-in-law, Charlotte and Cheryl. She will truly be missed by many.
Karen is survived by her husband, Robert Stolarski, sons, Kevin Stolarski and wife Alma, Kyle Stolarski and wife Paislea, grandchildren, Everett and Sophia, sister Kim Leverett, countless nieces, nephews and cousins. Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Emily Thibodeaux Hebert, and father, Warren Anthony Hebert, as well as her dearest cousin Gale Stevens.
