Obituary

Karen Sue Huffmeister was born in Houston, TX, on February 15, 1953, to Dan and Christine Scoville, and departed this world much too soon on May 25, 2017. She was preceded in death by her father and her sister, Linda Ross.

Karen was the high school sweetheart and devoted wife of 45 years to Chris Huffmeister, a caring and loving mother to Jeremy Huffmeister and wife Shannon, and a wonderful and full-hearted grandmother to Tyler, Hailey, and Kaden Huffmeister. We were all very blessed to have had her in our lives. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her mother, Christine Scoville; her husband, Chris Huffmeister; her son, Jeremy Huffmeister and wife Shannon; her grandchildren, Tyler, Hailey, and Kaden; her brothers, Danny Scoville and wife Judy, Steven Scoville and wife Katherine, and Clayton Scoville and spouse Anthony; her sister-in-law, Robin Stelzel and husband Peter; her brothers-in-law, Jody Huffmeister and wife Carrie Lou, and Mason Huffmeister and wife Deanna; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; her lifelong friend, Sherry Cotton; and her friend, Valerie Hayhurst.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, at Klein Funeral Home - Tomball, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Klein Memorial Park, SH 249, Pinehurst, TX.
